Never had an Atari, but I'm very happy to discover they have Quake for the Atari Falcon, a great machine released on the twilight of the old Atari. Features of Quake:
   320x200, 256 colours
   VGA or RGB
   24 kHz 16bit stereo sound
   Full mouse support
   060 optimized rendering routines
